Now is the time

The Eagles were in position to lock up this game. They needed to keep their drive alive, but with Donavan McNabb's passing sailing incomplete on 3rd and 6 and the drive taking up less than three minutes, the Falcons' defense has done it again.

Philly is close to the Super Bowl. They are really close. Had they converted that third down with 11:45 left in the game and made it to midfield, they would be in position to grind down the clock and close out the Falcons. Instead, the Falcons defense buckled down.

Now it is time for Vick and Falcons to show what they can do. The Eagles are winning the turnover battle, 1-0, but if the Falcons can score and then take the ball away from the Eagles, this game could result in Philly's fourth straight disappointing visit to the conference title game.
